Favourite Place: Charleston House, East Sussex, for the beautiful garden, unique interior decoration and paintings of the Bloomsbury group... or Watwick Bay, Pembrokeshire.

Favourite Drink: Tea. Or champagne.

Favourite Smell: Lemon zest, elderflower, a lane of cow parsley in early May.

Obsessions: Cushions, my shed-room in the garden.
Unusual fact about me: I played rugby (briefly) at university, which is quite outside my normal sedentary activities.
